Apply for Membership to the
San Antonio, Texas Chapter of the
American Society of Women Accountants

STEP 1: Follow the link below to the national ASWA web site to fill out and submit an application according to the instructions provided.
  To join the ASWA, you must meet the following requirements. Note that the application dues you are obliged to include with your application cover both national membership dues and local chapter dues as listed below. 



Regular Membership:
Annual chapter dues: $116.00

You must be actively engaged in accounting for two or more years, or hold a valid CPA certificate, its equivalent, or other accounting or financial certifications with similar education or experience requirements as determined by the National Board of Directors, or hold a bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or its equivalent.

Affiliate Membership:
Annual chapter dues: $116.00

You need not be actively engaged in accounting, but must have a substantial interest in accounting.

Student/Associate Membership:
Annual chapter dues: $37.00

You must be a regularly enrolled student in a post-secondary educational institutions, majoring in accounting or a related field, or actively engaged in accounting, with less than two years experience. Associate memberships are limited to two years following attainment of qualifications for regular membership and a maximum of seven years.

Retired Membership:
Annual chapter dues: $18.00

You must be age sixty-five as of June 1 and a regular or associate member for five consecutive years, be retired from all gainful employment due to disability as of June 1 or age fifty-five as of June 1 and retired from all gainful employment and regular or associate member for ten consecutive years.
 

STEP 2: Once you have been notified that application for membership has been approved, fill out the following form to create a Member's Account.
  Fill out the following form and click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. Please fill the form out completely before submitting it. Fields are marked as "Optional" and "REQUIRED". Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified by email when your account becomes active.

Please do not use all caps when entering your information. Use proper casing.
